Who has one mounted inside, on the windshield?
I have it between the RVM and the dash, but it \"sags\", and points down.
Whoever has it mounted differently, please post your pics and ideas. I am thinking of screwing it into the headliner and moving my RVM down.
Of course, I gotta know how to move the RVM.... |

how is the light mounted now.
yes you can mount it to the headliner,
someone made a shield for a d4 a few days ago on the lightbar board.
alot of options to work with.
what are you trying to accomplish? |

Suction cups.
I looked at that thread, but it just had pics of the D4 it self, and the shield.
I want to stay as low pro as I can. |

Ditch the suction cups. They will sag with anything that heavy. I drilled into my headliner, thru it and up into the metal, mounted 2 L brackets, and used the channel bolts/wing nuts to secure it. It doesn't move.
Here's a pic, you can see the mount in the background on the left.

| 3/4 or 1 in. 1/2 would probably even work. Start small and work your way up. |

| I will post pictures of my 2 mounted in the front. I used 2 regular L brackets from a hardware store. Works great. |

I used to have dual D4's mounted in my headliner via the sun visor brackets... I actually used Sound off's ultralite headliner bracket which worked perfectly with a little modification... Here are my ultralites mounted currently, but I just switched the D4's for the ultralites...
Good Luck,
Seth
