These guys don't get more points for more lights I hope!!! This is like 3 times as much as it gets put on a typical vehicle here!!!
Pray tell that there's a category for \"Most Intelligent Setup\" for the effective use of lights.
How's the judging done & what do you look for? |

Does this mean only the company vehicle is not allowed in or any vehicle owned by the owner?I have a small business myself, but no \"company/demo\" vehicle. If I came up,would I be able to enter my vehicle?About the most fancy thing I'd have wold be a dual Talon and Mirror beams.Just wondering about that.

Judging is done on number, placement, and quality of installation. We have seen some real hack jobs; and we see some excellent high quality installations. We also discount any crap from the auto parts stores, and the lighting must conform to state law or its also discounted. |
I don't believe there's a \"most intelligent\" award (though maybe that's not a bad idea
), but they do look at \"number, placement, and quality of installation\" - this would tend to eliminate utterly \"stupid\" installs . . .

No, and I'm getting quite frustrated - Best Buy has had my computer for 2 1/2 weeks now! It's a good thing I don't depend on it for my job like some do, but I've got some pretty important stuff on there that I'm doing for the church (not to mention, it's wireless so I can do all my eLightbars at the local Panera Bread restauraunt with their free WiFi if I want ) They had it a week and a half before they even assigned it to a tech, then two more days before they \"approved the repair\" under my service plan, then on Tuesday they told me that now they're waiting for a part! As soon as I get it back, I'll put them up and post to let you know - hopefully within the next couple days . . . |

Thats one of our part-time employees (he took 2nd)... as for those lights, well thats you get when an electrical engineer is a part-time fire fighter/part-time tech/full-time yahoo... he made them from scratch.
[quote:28821a1072=\"Justin\"]What are the lights near the bottom of the side of the truck... around where a nerf bar would be located.
They look like Whelen Strip-Lites, but it looks like there are quite a few of them. I can't imagine the guy paid $120/pc x 16 for the truck.

Here is a hint; I am in front facing the silver truck in the photo, wearing a red jacket with \"New Haven Fire Dept\" embroidered on the back. |

Anything other than that might have damaged that camera of yours.......
I am just suprised you didn't get pictures of the LED lights on his walker with the tennis balls on the bottom of it........ |
I know a couple of people who just may get a surprise \"inactive\" error message when they go to log in!!
There were some great setups there, heh Mick!!
I can't remember whether it was the Superduty in the photo or another one we had, where there were strobes installed in the door courtesy lights that activated when the door was open. |
There were 2 sets of led's in each courtesy light in each door. When the back door opened the front ones stopped flashing.

Actually, I believe they were strobes. But after seeing that many vehicles, I could have been mistaken. He had them on relays so they would also shut off when the door was shut.

Just admit it it takes you a long time to get your vision back because of AGE not because they were LED.

Actually I used relays and a PLC to control the door lights. I forgot to show you guys behind the rear seat. I made most of the lightheads in the light bar as well. I was a lot cheaper then buying them. I've made some modifications to other lightbars as well. Its fairly easy to add some led's to an existing bar. The arrow stick on the truck I made as well. It is integrated with my turn signals for normal operation.
Do you know if you can have multiple entries? I have a car for this year as well. (what about 4 wheelers??) |

ok, guys - I got my computer back finally!
As soon as I get a chance to go to a WiFi location (this weekend sometime) I'll upload the rest of my Roscommon pictures for those who wanted to see them. I don't have any more of anyone we know, though (or at least that I know) . . . |
