Ive been to Greece 3 times (1995, 1998, 2001). My family is Greek so I have family over there. Unless responding to a call, I did not notice a single cruiser with its lights on. Hellenic Police are easy and flex on most laws. |

I have never been there but I have seen a few photos of police cars with Whelen Edges with Blue a Green set up. They actually dont look bad, it looks kinda neat, odd for us used to RB, RR and BB on cop cars, but over there it is everyday to them so they are used to it. But I thought it looked kinda cool. |

I have heard that Puerto Rican Police leave their lights on the entire time they are in service. Same as some mall security I have seen in Charlotte, NC. Probably a visibility issue.
What I want to know is, how do people know they are being pulled over if they are accustomed to having lights going behind them? |

Maybe they get behind them and turn their lights off Or worse yet, maybe they dont' make traffic stops. My sister lived there for a few months; I\"ll have to give her a call and find out. |

| Your right some places do leave their lights on and i do believe that when they pull you over they do turn their lights off until you are stopped |

| I'd think adding a siren blast in addition to the lights and spotlight would be sufficient to signify you're being stopped. |
