That was during the EBM Class, the instructor who is one of the best instructors around really puts the class through a workout. he runs drills from street clothes to full gear and airpack on air. He does this at the beginning of the class then runs these types of drills throughout the entire class to 1 show everyone just how \"in shape\" they really are Laughing just about everyone improves by the end of the 88 hour EBM class which i believe is now 160 hours? i dont remember. He loves torture Twisted Evil those of course were just short lil clips from just 2 of the drills

EBM is pretty much an \"Essentials\" class for new firefighters. FireFighter I, if you will. I forget exactly what it stands for though.

Essentials Basic Module<(sp) Its a big step towards the Firefighter I which is a different test. The FD i ran with requires it if you want to do interior work although they do and have made exceptions (like me) who didnt have it but already had 15+ years experience (at the time i joined) i did finally take it however which was a fun class but kinda boring to me since it was a brush up class for me Very Happy i however was able to add alot to the class and helped out during the drills (teachers pet Embarassed ) here is the book we use: http://www.911hotjobs.com/bookstore2/pn677.htm
