Ok well I was going to throw a new video together on my truck and when I was filming the TA I noticed it isnt working right at all. And luckily I was filming it so I can show you.

If you watch the 30-50 second area you can see it screw up alot. What the heck is going on? I bought it off the board here so what could I do about warranty? I have never dealt with Federal Signal.

Here is the installation sheet

http://www.fedsig.com/products/docs/install/2561007.pdf

I have the same ground for the case ground and the negative. As well as a jumper from the positive to the ignition as I dont want it ignition controlled. It is running a homeade TA. But the lights themselves work well and if I leave it on the warning pattern everything works fine. Just the direction functions are not working right.

Any ideas?

How long are you leaving it on the pattern for? Seems to me that the patterns were changing to fast while the program was trying to run. Now, if you leave it on that pattern, does it still show as distorted or does it resume a normal flash pattern?

Loose wire somewhere? I'm not a big fan of the "pinch" style connections that FS uses. Maybe one of the bigger wires, which don't tend to get pinched all that great, is intermittantly coming loose?
