    Elightbars Droid App

Hey guys not sure if anyone has done this yet but I made a simple droid app for Elightbars. It is basically just a shortcut to the site but it works well so you can access in one click.

    Here is a link.
Elightbars for Android - Download our App.

    Enjoy.

Based on the circumstances, we have to get this out of the way...

The owner of eLightbars is not associated with this app, and third-party apps downloaded from anywhere but the Android Market could be potentially dangerous.

This is not intended to "look down" on this particular app, or its authors.

I was going to place it on the droid market just didn't feel like paying $25 to do it. Hopefully this does not cause any issues and I did not upset anyone making this.

You probably should have secured permission from John before going through with the project. I could only think of the potential legal issues with this, as it makes it sound like its affiliated with this site somehow.

Certainly not, I just have to cover the basics.

Your app could be even more effective once I can get the mobile style back up and running.

This is an information resource..... the more ways to access it the better. I am all for people making it more accessible... if you are making a free app I'm all for it. If you are profiting off the site name, we need to talk....

Just wondering, how would this App be different from using Tapatalk to access the site? Great job on making it, I just prefer to stick to having all of my forums accessible through one unit, it clears up screen real estate.

I would deffinately say make a mobile app for the site...i actually came to this section to post a thread suggesting this, because i cannot access the site from my black berry. I would be thrilled to buy the app if it were in the itunes app library, droid market place of black berry app world! If this were possible to do and with of course the proper permissions and contract with the site creator this should happen! Think about it there is just about every kind of app you can think of on the market why not create a mobile app for this site....think about it and then i wouldnt have to everytime i cant view it from my phone lol

Why can't you view the site from your phone??

TapaTalk supports iOS, Android, Blackberry, and Windows Phone devices. Aside from that, our mobile style should compatible with all modern smartphones.
