I don't like having the payment coming out automatically (many other “premium memberships” on other site do this). Automatic draft is OK if you are making a house payment, but for a payment for using a web site I prefer to have more control.

No, it is not recurring. While that option "could" be offered in the future, the current subscription that you used does NOT renew automatically.

My membership use to say Premium Verified Member I did the 10.00 upgrade I see it has gone back to Member now any reason why?

Click on "Settings" (top right hand corner of this page) then "paid subscriptions" (left side navigation under "My Account"). $10 for 18 months is a heck of a deal.

Indeed it is. Not sure what the procedure is for a check, my bad.
Since you didn't specify that in your post, I incorrectly assumed that you were looking on how to subscribe using a credit card, debit card or Pay Pal. Who uses checks these days!

Elightbars has made me quite a bit of money definitely nothing wrong with $10.00 to give back for the site that will allow me to sell my things and associate with other people. Glad to do it.
