Thread: TapaTalk app for smart phones

You can now use elightbars via tapatalk app on your smart phone

This is a nice app, however I don't like how it only shows the Most recent posts. It doesn't separate them like how it does here. That would be nice. I could always view the board through my mobile browser but I always had to zoom in to read anything. Do you know if there is a way to switch the view or is this a app issue?

Anything involving that app you'd have to take up with them. We don't do anything except allow the app to collect info.

That costs $2.99 on the Apple store. I looked around and there was one that's free. Called TouchBB Lite. Another's called Touch BB, fee based.

TapaTalk is now back online after the software upgrade.

As for which is the best, that is a matter of opinion. You probably have a better chance at other forums being available on TapaTalk than other less popular apps since it is free to forum owners to install and offer to the community. More forums to access would seem like it would make the $2.99 a better bargain.

I've never really though much about using the iphone for forum browsing because of how small the screen is. I'll have to see what is out there.

I had no problem seeing the other posts. After starting the app, I hit my menu button - chose the "FORUM" option and was able to choose whatever forum I wanted to see.
