Thread: Products with manufacture dates in the future

I have a set of Whelen Vertex haw's that I just bought about 2 weeks ago and noticed they both have a Mfg. Date of 03/2012 on the labels.
How can I have 2 lights that haven't been produced yet ?

Maybe this is in the wrong Forum ,wasn't sure where to post it.

This has been discussed in depth, in the past. Whelen puts future dates on their products to account for shipping and stocking time with retailers/distributors/dealers. I currently have 5 brand new Slimlighters with April 2012 manufacture dates.

We covered this before, but I can't find it by searching...


Whelen as well as a few other stamp a date a few months in advance on their products so the end user gets a full warranty period if the middle man has it too long. I got a batch of 900 series that was "3 months early".
