    Strobesnmore Lightbar

Does anyone other then me think they should put out a fullsize lightbar. I own and have owned many SNM products and love the price, quality, and performance. It just makes sense to me.

Lets face it, whelen has the Justice bar that is an incredible bar and at $1000.00 anyone who skips past it for a chinese bar is in my opinion throwing their money in the trash. In order to compete with the top local brands you need to have 2 things. One, a products that offers more. By more I mean better output, nicer features, certifications equal to or greater than your competitors, etc.. The second thing you need is a decent price. So lets face it I would have to sell a bar for $800.00 to get customers to buy it over a Whelen or Federal. As I just told the owner of this forum if guys really knew what they were getting with all these chinese products they might start paying more attention. I own a lumen/lux meter and test any sample that comes in. The output of these lights are no where to any of the leading local manufacturers. The other issue is product liability, longevity, etc... Name me one company here in the USA that has been in business for years selling Chinese crab that has a halfway decent reputation? I can't think of one but don't know if he is still in business as I haven't heard from him in a while.

I would buy that all day long, especially the dual color.

Thanks for all the positive feedback. I can say that our minibar should be out very soon in both solid and dual colors. If anyone has any dual colors to throw out there let me know. Going to start with Red and amber and blue and amber. Pricing will start at just about 200.00 for solid colors and 225.00 or very close to that for dual colors. Both with magnets and optional permanent mounts for a $10.00 upcharge. We have done tons of testing on the bar so it should be right the first time around. We are working on some other projects but as you know its very important to me that we deliver a quality product. My staff will tell you that I test and test and test as its my name going on the product. Take care and be safe.

That street price will give LOTS of competition to the other mini bars out there. Then, toss in dual color capability and nobody will be able to compete.

I was thinking about getting a SNM bar to replace the LS12's in my side windows. The 2 head would fit no problem. I was thinking possibly the 4 head. I would be a tight fit. I was thinking red/clear. The 4 head is set up red/clear/red/clear. Would I be able to move the heads around easy enough to make them red/red/clear/clear?

For only $25 more than the single color minibar, I imagine everybody will (or should) spend the extra $$$ and have amber as a secondary color. I bet it'll be successful, good luck!

Is there an estimated time-line on this new light bar? I was getting ready to purchase an amber one for plowing, but with the word of this new bar I am going to hold off I think.

Boy that didn't take long. Yes it's almost ready and the first batch of lights should be available for shipping by the middle to end of April. As soon as we have a date they will hit the site. I think everyone will be very happy with the final product. My testers have given very positive feedback and we adjusted the light, mounts, etc. accordingly and I feel we have a very good product. Just waiting on a few test results to come back and if all goes well we will get moving. We are testing the metal for rust resistance and the dome for UV two items which we feel are very important. As I have a better date i will post it. Still going to be in solid and dual color models. Louis

You forget that a lot of members here have little to no life and live on the interwebz....

It does look like a nice little unit, and I assume it will be competitively priced! Nice to see some other people getting products out there and not just the big named manufacturers!
