That middle one would make a great vol. fire light if you could get R/W/R or B/W/B.

So take 40% off list and you get retail...

From what I understand from talking with distributors, these have really been available for bid situations outfitting fleets and whatnot. I guess that they are having a hard time getting their hands on them for small scale/retail situation.

Anyways, I agree a multicolor option would be a GREAT addition for the volunterr market

The design makes a lot of sense with LIN style on the corners and TIR style facing front and back. Looks a lot more sensible than the responder LED bars.

I'm not a fan of the grey plastic dome clips being so visible under the dome. I'm still waiting for the Super Liberty. Think of a bar that looks like a liberty with 1/2 the height using LINZ6 Modules.

Neat looking bar. Might buy one for myself to use at my other job.

    Anyone got a video yet?

Same here, if I can find more information on them. That 23 inch bar would satisfy all of the requirements for my job and get the DOT inspector off my butt for having the wrong size light. Not many other manufacturers out there produce a mini light bar that is more than 16 inches long. The clear outer dome would be nice so I don't have a clearly visible amber bar on the roof while I'm riding around....

Anyone have some insight on what the modules are built up on here? Almost look like the corners are LIN3s or even LIN4s, not a lot of diodes based on the limited photos from Whelen. Inboard modules look similar to the SPECTIR economy dash light..

Is that in development, or just a wishful thinking kinda thing? I think that would be a kick-ass lightbar!!!!!!

Preliminary Mini Century AE Flash Patterns:

    Signal Alert 75
    Comet Flash 75
    Double Flash 75
    Single Flash 75
    ComAlert 75
    LongBurst 75
    PingPong 75
    SingleFlash 90
    SingleFlash 120
    SingleFlash 300
    DoubleFlash 150
    ComAlert 150
    ActionFlash 50
    ActionFlash 150
    ModuFlash
    ActionScan

Mount for permanent use is 1/4" hardware, Stud Mount is 3/8" hardware.

    Recommended fuses:
    11" - 5 amp
    16" - 10 amp
    23" - 15 amp

Based on the 125% sizing, this would put the 23" at 12 amps peak draw (all modules lit), 16" at 8 amps and the 11" at 4 amps. The addition of 2 modules to the 16" versus the 11" and 2 more modules in the 23" versus the 16" implies the peak amp draw of the inboard TIR-style modules is not necessarily linear at 2 amps per module, otherwise an 8 inboard module 23" bar would draw closer to 16 amps peak.

3 wire power cable - power, ground and ScanLock pattern selection.

    Thanks W for the details

I'm surprised there has been only one comment regarding this post. SirenNet made a passing remark about forthcoming Whelen lightbars several months ago, and I haven't heard anything concrete since then. Taking into account the attention paid to updating the Liberty Series, and the lack thereof paid to the Freedom Series, I was anticipating an update to the latter using M-Series modules.

How well has the Justice been selling? I really don't hear much about it, as the Liberty appears to be the default choice when it comes to purchasing Whelen lightbars. A bar even thinner than the Liberty would be interesting to see. I didn't realize the LINZ6 modules are compliant for use as corner lightheads.

    Any more info about this?

16 amps?!?!?! really? Thats the same amp draw as a 4 rotator lightbar! and thats true 360 degree coverage.
Have we got to the point of bright LEDs that they are the same amp draw has halogen? halogen even melts the snow off the light so you dont have to keep cleaning it! ill take halogen still

I like that it's set up with linear technology on the intersection area where you need it most, and that the TIR optics are facing straight forward. Much more effective in my opinion.
I don't like to consider myself a "volunteer", more like an un-paid professional.

This bar is brand new and has never been offered in a bid. Will only be available in Amber for starters and unsure on other colors at this time. We are expecting bars second week of this month. They are very bright and have an aluminum base with plastic dome. Really a great product brand new from the ground up.

Louis - when can we plan on seeing the amber bar with clear dome available?
