Webster County, MS1,545 PostsWhelen Pioneer , Whelen WWL200 .. Whats the difference???
Ok so im a little confussed here guys as i am not big in keeping up with whelen. I have seen the dual pioneer and love it and want one for my pushbar but backed out after looking at the prices. So I found someone who has a Whelen WWL200 dual led floodlight, it looks just like a pioneer in a way to me. After trying to research I couldnt find anything on Whelens website or anywhere on the internet besides one on Ebay which I have bid up to $250 on for 2 months and its always reserve not met. A guy I have been talking to has a brand new Dual head WWL200 with bail bracket brand new in the box and he said he would help me out and let me have it for $200!?!? Idk if thats a good price because i cant find it. Problem is I already purchased a pair of Sound Off 1400 Lumen Flood work lights and got them in today which im going to hook them up and test tonight.
QUESTIONS:
1) is that a good price? and if i got it and decided to resale it could i atleast make my money back or a little extra cash?
2) what is the lumens on it? I know my Sound Off lights will be 2,800 lumen when both on.
3) Does the WWL200 flash like the pioneer
4) WHATS THE DIFFERENCE?
Here is a pic of the Pioneer of course:

Here is a pic of the WWL200 light head *this picture is taken from the one listed on ebay and photo doesnt belong to me*:

Canada382 PostsThe Micro Pioneer is going to be super bright, comes with interchangable lenses for different beam patterns, and a lot cheaper than any full sized Pioneer lamp. Not as aesthetically pleasing as a Rigid lamp but I was sold at interchangable lenses. My dealer should be bringing some in soon.

Tell you what, tell me who is selling it for $200 and I will buy it myself.
The WWL200 & WWL100 are discontinued work lights and have nothing to do with the Pioneer. They are designed to be work lights for public works or anyone that needed a flood light for working at night. The newer Pioneer lights pretty much made them obsolete.Dallas Careflite landing before a storm in Hurst, TX
