Lets just say my friend amped a code 3 100watt speaker put it in the grille.....it's crazy loud (he amped it to his car radio) If anyone wants to try this I highly recommend it.

Well, siren speakers are designed at 11 Ohms, where normal audio speakers start at 8 ohms and go down from there. I'm too tired to do any real thinking right now, so no idea if it will effect the speaker or the amplifier.

I had a brain blast the other day very similar to this. For evens and bon fires, I tape my mic open and place it near stereo speaker and have music through the PA. but if I hook a stereo speaker t the radio terminals on the bottom of my V-con, when I hit the radio selector knob, will it play through? or are we facing the same issue as OP? reason I ask now is, im having a large fire tongiht

We did that a few years ago at the squad, by taking the input from the stereo and hooking it to the Radio input on the siren. We got thrown out a parade, playing songs like "Shriner's Convention", "Take This Job and Shove It", and there were a few more...heheheh
it would probably be alot safer to do this through your radio rebroadcast that way impedance is correct
