    Motorola xtl 2500

    Dose anyone know if the motorola has a build in speaker

    Motorola XTL 2500 radios do not have built in speakers only XTL 1500 have built in speakers.

    No they dont have a built in speaker. You will need a external speaker. I have the Motorola XTL2500 in both of my cars as well as base stations. If you want pics I can post them. They make a 7.5 watt and 13watt speaker for it.
