    Whelen 295HFS5 question

Does anybody know what the jumper on the circuit board does? I will put up a picture when I can. When you slide the cover off there is a jumper on the same top circuit board where the dip switches are for programing the slide switch. If anybody knows what I am talking about and can fill me in that would be great. I didn't see anything about it in the PDF for the siren from Whelen but maybe I just missed it. Thanks!

Here is a picture of what I am asking about. This might help people understand what I was talking about.

That must be an older unit. The newer ones have 3 banks of dip switches in them.
It appears that jumper is on the circuit board for the push button switches. The only thing I can think of is it may switch the output from normally open to normally closed. If no one else knows, give Whelen tech support a call.

Found out from Whelen that it controls the back lighting. If the jumper is in one position the back lighting comes on when power is applied to a wire in the harness. If it is in the other position the back lighting comes on when the main power to the siren is turned on. Thanks for your help to all the replied to the thread and PM'D me!
