    Channel/Repeater knob on Minitor V

I was wondering if motorola sold just the rubber cover for the channel selector/repeated knob? I seem to have lost mine

I work for a Motorola Dealer and we cannot even get part numbers for most parts.
The rubber push down button is integrated into the Stored Voice button so the knob itself needs to be replaced.
Sadly the V series is not as field repairable as previous Minitor models were. Mostly because Motorola isn't offering any parts.
Battery and belt clip is pretty much it.

Crap part is even if you can get the parts (we're not a moto dealer but got the hookup somehow...), there's usually a minimum order on the small parts. I had an EX500 portable in last week that needed a flex PCB cable that connects the external mic pins, speaker, and microphone to the board inside, which also means that I needed the sticky black cover with the holes in it that goes over the external mic pins as well. Minimum order was 5 PCB cables and 12 ext mic covers.

Oh okay, so I'm pretty much like a fish out of water on this one? I found the knob the other day and super glued it back on but I don't know if it would hold for long

I have yet to have Moto tell me that I have to order a minimum of any part. I can order a $0.01 part and as long as I pay the shipping, they'll send it to me.

Who knows. The orders people at our corporate headquarters make all the orders, so I don't know what the exact deal is. I just saw a copy of the order they sent me and it said there was multiples of every part due to minimum orders.

So for sure, getting a new rubber cover for the knob would be next to impossible?

I always glue the replacements on. If you don't have a good radio shop/dealer in use by your agency you can get them from Ebay Seller

You can't buy just the rubber either way for ANY pager. It comes as a complete knob and you have to replace it as such.
