I've seen a few installs on this board with a plastic sleeve/collar for a mag light to drop into, normally mounted on the side of a console, dash or partition. Where can I get one of these? Example below

That's the only thing they make, to my knowledge. They work really well. You can get them at most ace hardware stores."Elightbars... where wannabes come to bicker with professionals, thru the safety of the internet"- Maranos

All that I have seen that are mounted like that (including my own) are mounted using the charging cradle.

My dad has a streamlight that looks and mounts like the one pictured. Not sure what model. And its the charging cradle for it.

The light in the photos, as stated is a Streamlight flashlight. Its holder actually is the charging base, also as stated.
If you would like one for a Mag-Light, look for a used Mag Charger charger. The hold it very well.
I also think there is one being sold here on the board. You can also remove the charger from its base if you need to make room, and do not want the bulk of the charger.
Here are some pics, the MagCharger is the same size as a 3-Cell D flash light, so it will fit any other size D cells. The bottom of the charger is a base that mounts to your surface, and then you snap in the charger. You can see the base in the pics.

A piece of schedule 80 PVC conduit from the local hardware/hjome improvement store would work for a maglite. That's what I have in my work truck and it works well.

I like the PVC idea. I've used the Mag Lite clip system, and have broken many clips. The PVC would be unbreakable.
