    Setina PB400 on a 2011 Tahoe - Doesnt clear?

So I ordered a PB400 from Setina, told em it was for a 2011 tahoe.

Came today, took off the tow hooks, and then I'm supposed to slide the mount into the frame rail, but it seems like there's no way its going to clear the front end, and even if I did manage to get it in there without breaking something, it would certainly rub very tightly against the pb mount.

Am I missing something? (Its a 2011 Tahoe SSV, stock). I know its supposed to be a no-drill, no cut install...

I feel like the frame rail is supposed to be lower than that... Perhaps I need to get a lift kit first?

By the way - i did remove that little plastic piece on the inside. I can get the mount in there, but if i try to level it out, its pushing up against the front-bumper of the car and there is too much resistance.

Did Setina send you the right grille guard?.

I put the same unit on my 2008 Expedition, and it fit perfectly. Maybe you should contact their customer service.

On a side note, Setina said that the OEM tow hooks (loops on the Expedition) would have to be removed to mount my grille guard. I was able to remount them once the grille guard was correctly positioned.

These are pretty stout units and I really like the look and function on my Expedition.

We had the same problem on our 2008 Tahoe but somehow the techs made it fit. I think they had to "bend" the heck out of the bumper opening as much as they could but it did finally fit. I will ask them today when I get in and see if they can tell me what they did.

thanks for the help, hopefully they can provide some insight.

I am pretty sure it is the right pushbumper and right mounts (everything looks right). The bolt holes line up to where the tow hook used to be.

But I just cant get it to fit in there without potentially damaging the factory front bumper/facade/grill area.

If i insert it at a 45 degree angle, itll go into the frame rail, but trying to raise it and level it out, you hit that factory bumper/opening.
