    Craigslist SVP Mini bar Find....

So I found anothey oddity on the Craig hunt. This is a mini bar Labeled by SVP. The bar has 2 sealed beam rotators each with it's own Unity heavy duty enclosed motor.drive system (labeled before I cleaned them!). The bar was rough so I gave it the full monty and I think it looks great minus the crazing that "magically" shows up when on. Is this rare?? If so.....HOW rare??? On a scale of 1-10....10 being the rarest....thanks as always for looking! Steve

    SVP Dome

Be carefull with the dome. All of the ones I have had, the domes were really brittle, and cracked when I polished.

Doesn't look like there's enough room for a mirror if you consider the rotation of the bulbs.

I think I could move the rotators out a bit and get a flat mirror in there but I think keeping it original is the way to go....

Oooo, Daddy like! That's different, I didn't know SVP made a small mini bar like that. Hang onto that one! That's unique.

I like the open speaker design. Otherwise bulky, makes a StreetHawk look almost skinny.

Thanks guys....I have never ever seen one of these in operation on an actual vehicle in my entire life and I look at anything with transparent colored plastic or glass.....thus....I figured it was pretty rare, or at the least, uncommon...

This one's gotta be rare, back when SVP was still SVP and still in Florida. The dome looks a lot like one of the small Yankee domes, similar to what Yankee used in their mid-sized lightbars that were used on the mid-sized Plymouth Gran Furies, etc. SVP also had a small magnetic bar with twin halogen rotators that was very nice and not all that expensive early-on.
