    Help Identifying a part

    I received this base in a trade a while back and don't have a clue to what make it is? Not sure if i even posted in the right thread! No name on it anywhere, even on the motor.

    Looks like a Dietz 2-11 base. I have seen Signal Stats that looks like it also.

    I'm leaning towards Signal Stat on this one. Signal Stat bases always went narrow towards the bottom like that and the two-beam version of this was pretty common.

    Seems like they should have used 4 bulb set-up's, at least would have looked better! I do like the contour/slope of the domes on the Signal Stat

    They did have 4-bulb beacons in this design as well. Most famous use for these beacons is with the NYPD in the 1970s.

    They almost look to be McDermott can lights, it looks like the little signal stat lolipops are on McDermott risers, as they are staggered on the 2 rails.

    The can light's are TRIO Sales T-2 PAR 46 lights, same as the ones that LAPD used.

    Was that set-up something that NYPD did in house or did they purchase thru Signal Stat?
