Need Prices on some NOS Vintage Whelen

OK, so I have the opportunity to pick up both of the below lights. Both are NOS but I'm not sure yet whether or not they have their original boxes. Also, the 1200 is a 12 volt model and it also has the pole mount. Just want to have a rough idea where I should be when picking these up so I don't screw the guy over or get screwed over myself. Thanks in advance for any info.

    Hi Chuck. Nice Lights!
NOS DMS is a second generation DMS. It has a single 90LB magnet in the heavy cast base. Gen. 1 had 3 recessed rubber magnets, and Gen. 3 is pretty much what we see sold today. I'd guess maybe $125-$150 retail.
The 1200, if it's single flash, it's first Gen. maybe $100-$125 retail.
It's all a guess. There aren't a lot of them out there, and there aren't a lot of people buying them.

Be careful when you power them up!
If these old strobes haven't been run in a while, they have list memory, and can overheat and self destruct. I believe the old warning sheet said to power them at 30% for a whilt to allow them to get flash memory back.
I'll look for that sheet, and let you know.

Thanks Dan. I appreciate the heads up on powering them up. Chances are that if I get them, they will likely never be powered up for more than a second or two just to verify functionality. Chances are that I may be able to get the pair for $250 to $275 so I guess I would be in the ball park at that price.
