Contact a nearby scrap yard, ask how much they'd give you for an x' step van (however long it is) with steel shelving and if they'd be willing to come get it. I don't know if it would be worth it at $700, it really depends on the current scrap prices. You could get less, you could get even more. In fact, it's pretty likely that the other bidders plan to scrap it as well, and if so you have an edge since you're willing to take a small loss on the scrap price to get the lights.

Just keep in mind to ask what the price for a scrap vehicle is. They usually pay less for a scrap vehicle since it has a mixture of materials in it that they have to put the work into separating. Around here a scrap vehicle is paying $11.38 per hundred pounds.

If they came and got it it would be basically a break even buy for me.

Sadly, there was a very similar Step Van in a junk yard here about three years ago that I got some parts from. It looked like they drove it in, quite honestly I would have given it an 8/10 in basic condition. Maybe the frame was shot, I dont know. They left the keys in it in the yard and never took out the battery, though I guess they drained the gas because it cranked but wouldnt start. Then again, be kinda hard to drive it out of the yard past the gate unnoticed!
...because the voices in my head TOLD me to!

    A couple of points:
    1) It's a SlimMiser
    2) I really want to report it, because he was stupid enough to write that it's red/blue
    3) I don't know about you, but I'd never buy anything from someone who calls themselves "puffynuts".

And either the sell pulled it or the eBay police got it.
