Steps to clear Cookies and Cache in your browser

Some members are experiencing problems remaining logged in, or logging in and not showing as logged in. Here are some steps that could resolve this issue:

Clear your browser's cookies and cache...

Internet Explorer- Tools > Delete Browsing History

Firefox- Tools > Clear Recent History:

Chrome- Customize & Control (Wrench icon) > Tools > Clear Browsing Data

Safari- General Settings Menu (Gear icon) > Reset Safari

After performing this action, it would be a good idea to close your browser and start fresh. If you still encounter problems, please post about it in this thread.

    -Thank you

Yea, didn't help at all. This is a PIA to log in every single time.

I have to ask... did you check the "Remember Me" box before you logged in?

I would like to hear from other people on this too. Personally, I am not having this problem, when I come to the site, I am already logged in ("Remember Me" is checked). Please also understand that we are still working out the bugs from the move, and that we are constantly optimizing settings based on user feedback.

Well it seems to be working fine for the majority of users. What browser are you using? What level are your internet security settings set to?

Internet Explorer8. It keeps me logged in an any site but this one. Security level is @ Medium-high. Also, I check the "Remember Me" box each time.

Not sure what to tell you, I am using IE8 as well and it works fine for me. It also works fine on Firefox and google chrome on all 3 of my computers on both my internet connections.

Have you tried another browser on the XP machine? If it works OK with IE or Chrome, that would point to a bad setting in FireFox...

Kind of sounds like a phantom issue I have on another board. I don't get any email updates from that board but when the admin and mods send me an email from the site, I get those... They have no idea why I don't get the rest of the emails and that is the only site that does that. I know it's the forum software and not on my side but they just can't figure it out.
