Just wondering if the tapatalk app works with the site. I know I seen some stuff about it before but just wondering if it works here.nif I does I will buy the app but if it doesn't then I will not even spend my money.madmins if you can give me a better answer that would be great. Thanks

Yes, it works very well. There is one minor issue I continually have, but it doesn't affect the functionality of the app.

It works better here than some of my other forums. Don't like that it doesn't embed videos and I have to open it in safari, but other than that it rocks.

I guess I need to market this option better.

eLightbars fully supports TapaTalk and I recommend it for anyone using a mobile device to access the forums. The stock vBulletin mobile web style is not that great and lots of people seem to be having trouble with it. That's why I always suggest using TapaTalk. I know it isn't free, but if you visit other forums, there is a good chance it will work there too.

All I ask is that it doesn't auto-insert the annoying typical "Posted from my fancy-schmancy over-priced uppity-techy gizmo" spam tag.

There are few things on the web I find more offensive.

That is controlled by the user unfortunately.

Anyone know how to turn it off? I hate it on mine. Why don't it even say evo instead of model number?

On my evo when I was on the forum screen hit menu on the phone then more, then hit settings and there is a spot to change tapatalk signature. I turned mine off.

On the iPhone 4S version, you get the menu at the bottom of the main screen when you first load the Tapatalk. Click on Settings and then Signature. You can then either edit the signature or just turn it off.

It can be a PITA for me sometimes. Every now and then even when I am only running on 4G it tends to freeze up. Oh and now if there us a youtube link and I click on it it will not load properly or ask if I want to use the youtube mobile app or view it online. Not sure why.

Yeah, YouTube links don't work. It inserts a comma and then just dies. Fairly new problem.

The other problem I have is with unread thread counts. It says 138 of 248 loaded(for example). Then I try to load more, it goes thru the motions, and doesn't load more. Appears to be a problem with counting.

Any possibility admin can fix the YouTube/Tapatalk problem? The fix is posted here:

Nope, tried watching the batmobile video.

It works for me. I click the youtube link and it will open another window and load the video just fine.

The normal YouTube links work for me, but the shortened ones don't. I don't know if there is anything that can be done about that

the app itself is going haywire for me.

Running great for me. YouTube videos work again. Thanks to whoever fixed that!
