    same here... it is enabled... sometimes I get them, sometimes I don't.

    This is not enabled by default. You have to change the following setting to ON.

    User Control Panel -> Board Preferences -> Edit Posting Defaults -> Notify me upon replies by default

    Alternatively, there is a "Subscribe" link at the bottom of every thread, if you click that it will subscribe you. You no longer need to reply to be notified of replies.
