Why am I getting Certificate Error Messeges from this site ???

When ever I go to the classified sections, I am getting pop ups saying there are Certificate Errors on this site.
And it is telling me that web internet is blocking them ?

    Moved to tech issues.

Can you provide more details, including (ideally) screen shot(s) of the error messages?

PS I dont get any error messages when I access the classified sections/..
An annoyance online since original BBS days- early 90's. Damn I miss modem tones... but not 14.4 kbit/s.

You know what the chain of command is? It's the chain I'm going to get and beat you with until you understand who's in command here.... (best quote ever!)

Have a feeling that either some servers / data centers somewhere are having issues. In the last hour I've seen the same popup on many legitimate sites, but am not getting it on ELB. Some of the sites I'm seeing it on are hosted by Amazon Hosting, and some hosted by Google, but the issue is random. One time it happens, a few minutes later when I'm probably hitting a different server, I get no error.

Again, I am not getting the error on ELB, but it started happening on a number of other sites within the last hour. I was on those sites earlier this morning with no issues.

Edited to add - just got the popup advising that IE blocked content with Security Certificate Errors when I submitted this post. - using IE8 on WinXP.

Yea it's like the little drop down you get when a site wants you to do the Active X.
    It says
( To help protect your security, IE has blocked this website from displaying content with Security Certificate Errors. )

I keep getting the same pop up everytime I come to ELB today. This just started today and has never happened before. There have been no config changes on my computer.

It might have something to with the adds that run on the site...

I noticed there was an update to Microsoft Security Essentials Definitions this morning. Anyone else who is seeing the problem using Microsoft Security Essentials? I am seeing the same issue on Woot.com, and ocasionally on some other forum sites that I use.

If anyone sees this again, please get me a screenshot of the actual certificate (click on the warning bar).

Also, the simplest cause is often the wrong date/time on your computer. The thing to keep in mind is that ELB doesn't operate a secure certificate, there are no sensitive transactions taking place that would require it. So it is suspect that a certificate error would even appear. These types of things can often be related to spyware/malware on the user's computer as well.

Either way, let me know if it continues to be a problem. The more information I have, the better. I cannot duplicate the problem, so troubleshooting is very difficult.
