Adavent lights (or the weird version of them i got) pics and vid....

well so i took a shot and order some of these "lights"

i must say my lights are NO WHERE NEAR what the other thread is. i ordered my lights in amber. i thought they would be kinda neat to add as flashers for a minibar or something where it didnt need any lighting help.

    guess i was WRONG!!!!

i am VERY dissapointed in these "warning lights"

but ill try to let my pics and vid speak for themselves.

my version do not look like the ones in the "for sale section"

lights powered off of a 12v power supply

i purchased 2 but rick gave me 4.
    they all came standed together

6 feet away indoors lights off and blinds closed....

heres where i knew these things were not EV equip morthy.

window open lights off. (sun is in the front yard for refference)

    So now we go outside

3 oclock in the afternoon. a few clouds in the sky. these were taken satuday (1/28/12)

50 feet away from truck. (tir 3's are flashing lights on)

    30 ft

    5ft

1 foot (proof to show lights are actualy on

video of lights up against microman 3 watt leds behind 20% tint

    other random pics.

lights vs dashmizer in dark room

lights vs dasmiser in sun lighted room

hey i found something that they are brighter than ( aftermarket "dashlight" led on a cig plug you can get at wal mart for backlighting inautomotive)

    envelope lights came in.

Postage due notice I got with letter

I advised the sender that the 4.95 i paid for shipping should have covered a better means of shipping than this envelope. ($1.80 in regular stamps since stamps are now 45 cents a piece)

I also asked why these lights are NOT like the ones i saw for sale and the reply is " amber lights are made differently"

seems like 2 leds would be less than the ones with 3 leds? (maybe thats why i got 2 free?)

these lights might be good for lighting a cabinet in a rig or something other than "emergency" lighing PERIOD!

So your thoughts? I know what mine are!
Well, what's this year got in store?

A "postage due notice" alone after being charged $4.95 for an envelope should be a huge red-flag as to how the "business" is run. No postage meter?

I apologize for the poor quality of the ambers everyone. J jarred will be refunded his money seeing he is not completely satisfied. I am taking the ambers off the market and will stuck with red blue and white. I am new to the emergency light industry and I have appreciated the constructive criticism. Please let me know if anyone has any questions or concerns. Also, I would love for everyone to check out the custom things I have posted in the none-emergency equipment, would love to here thoughts on those. I have sold about 10 already and everyone has been ecstatic about them. Once again sorry for the poor transaction j jarred will be compensated.

just an update to this thread. i have not heard from the advent lights since he posted this message.

no refund was received neither was due postage.

at this point unless this "reminder" comes to his mind i would not deal with advent lights.
