    Old "PATROL" light

Ok, I have never done a review before so here it goes. I have always wanted one of the signs the Missouri Highway Patrol use to use back in the 30's. It was a lit sign in the passenger side of the window that said "PATROL". I have never seen one except for the one in the highway patrol museum in Jefferson City. I saw a post that Rick from Advent Signs (ELB username Adventlights) posted about being able to make led signs with your names on them. I asked Rick if he would be able to re-create one of these signs for me and he said he could. I called the patrol's museum and spoke with one of our nice office ladies who was nice enough to take some pictures of the sign as well as get dimensions. After emailing Rick the photos and dimensions, he started working on the sign and kept me posted of the progress along the way. I asked him if instead of 12v for the car, he could make it into 110v for my "Man room" and he said it wasn't a problem. As you can see from the photos, it is almost identical to the ones the patrol used back in the day. For being custom built, I am extremely please with not only the workmanship, but the price as well. If any of you would like a replica piece of history, contact Rick and I'm sure he will set you up. Thanks Rick!!!!!!!

The light on the bottom is the original, the top three are the ones that Rick made. The light was packaged well, shipped USPS and took about a week to get here. The overall quality is a 9/10 and looks great in my collection. I would recommend this light to anyone wanting a replica piece of Missouri State Highway Patrol history.
