    1999 Chevy Tahoe

This is my work vehicle for the city of Wetumpka. And yes it is a '99 work truck version tahoe. The PD used it before the FD got it and it may have been owned by the state before that.

    Front
    2 dual R/W talons
HAW strobes in the turn signals

    Side
8inch microman 3 watt bars R/R each side

    Rear
    20inch microman 3 watt R/A/R/A/R

    Console
    Kenwood 7160 vhf
    whelen siren w/SA 314 speaker
    SW300 switch box
    Fuse block
whelen ulf44 for the microman bars

Will be adding grille guard this weekend, and ordering some more microman bars for front and side coverage on guard. Will also move my siren speaker to the guard, it is in the engine comp. and it is loud inside the cab. Would the speakers be better on top or bottom of the guard cross bar?

Personally, it all comes down to budget. I say use what you have...you can always upgrade later.

It doesn't look half bad, especially bodywise... Shape is certainly passé, but it still looks pretty good from here, especially given the harsh Pennsylvania winters and the PD/FD/SP and whatever else hard use and abuse...

Yea she is in pretty good shape. The clear coat is comming off in spots on the hood, and the grill couyld be repainted, but the biggest problem is that the AM/FM radio antenna is bad so I don't have any tunes to listen to. LOL

I think I will install the lights I already have for now.

I would put both talons on the same flashpattern and add a headlight flasher.

One talon is passive and the other is ballast, so that is the closest flash pattern.

Changing up the vehicle a little bit. I will be adding a microman TA in place of the 20" bar. Adding 2 8" bars to the lower part of the rear window and removing the dominator on grill guard and putting in a 8" microman bar. I have bought a cencom red to control everything and I built a center console.

Here are the first pics of the console. I still have some pieces to get and more wood work.

Its not connected to it, it just looks like it. It is the channel lock rescue tool hanging from the cup holder.
