Great work. I have a 2012 Highlander, so I'm thrilled to see an install on a newer highlander. But dear god, another hatzolah whacker! 2 grill lights are plenty, and either 2 dual talons OR the strobes n more dominator-type stick would be fine (they just cancel each other out in a blur), but the dominators on the roof rack seem to be a trend w/ the Hatzolahs lately. the rear is too much, because the point of rear warning is to identify yourself as an emergency vehicle and provide warning, not cause epileptic seizures in every vehicle that you pass. But, I know you do what the customer wants, and you did a great job of it.

How hard was it working on the highlander (i.e. pulling it apart, drilling LAWs in the double-sealed housings, etc.) and about how long did the install take overall (actual labor, excluding breaks and doing other work)?

Glad to see more Yotas on here as well... I will be dressing my Sequioa here in the coming months!

Personally I think that there is too much light everywere, which makes it hard to see the vehicle or the direction.

this 2010 highlander is one of my display cars the owner is a very good friend of mine and since he is a civil worker ( OEM NY and FDNY lieutenant/medic)and doesn't have money to wire up his car so since he is a good friend of mine i made him a deal i wire up your car at cost and if i need a demo car i can borrow your car since he has a city car issued to him his highlander is almost always available i still plan on adding 2 blues vertex in the reverse lights and 2 split red/white vertex in the front turn signals on a slow pattern and Red vertex by the fog lights on a angle for more intersection and then the car can't have anything else or it would look like a ferries wheel flying down the street as for the back when he responds at night he turns off most of his back and front warning cause its impossible to see the street with all the reflection bouncing off all the street signs the install took 4 full days (10 hour days) with 2 full wire harness going int to the hood the car is really decked out as for pulling it apart as long as you have a 10mm socket and good trimming tools its lego for adults its all snapped together

this car also took a trip to the dealer when i was finished with car a moron driver ran into the car in his driveway an the dealer/service department couldn't figure out which harness was factory and which harness was aftermarket if you need any advice i wired up 5 highlanders one after another so i know the car inside and out pm il be happy to help if am able to
i need a new car soon and i was thinking about getting the highlander i only know the 2010 what do you think of the 2012 other then the drop different shape how does it handle and how good are the gas mileages

What kind of HLF did you use on that Toyota? I have a 2009 Corolla and I was always told you cant install HLF in them because they screw up the internal computers? Im very interested. Thanks!

i generally use sound off signal flasher ETHFSS-SP for almost every type of car and add 1 to 4 relays in place if needed never had a problem the 2009 corolla is a negative system so you can install the right flasher or you can use any hlf and use 4 SPST 4 pin relay and that wont cause any problems except when your wig wags are on you won't be able to override the wig wags and turn your high beams on the color wire in your car is Headlights-Hi LIGHT GREEN

Thanks, I don't think i'll be installing any lights anytime soon, since I only work shifts for my dept and don't respond POV, but thanks.
I love the new highlander. I had a 2001 that I loved and the 2012 is roomier, handles well, my gas mileage averages 23-25 mpg on a 4-cylinder/2 wheel drive. My 2001 V6/4 wheel drive averaged 18 mpg on a good day.
