Well, I have to agree with pretty much everyone on here. The install job is great. It looks very professional, but I smell a......w......w.....whacker!!!! I'm not familiar with all of the laws in Alaska that cover emergency lighting, but it just doesn't make sense that a "reserve" police officer who is "non-Comissioned" would have an amber and clear set up, or a siren that only utilizes the airhorn. If I saw this thing approcahing me from behind, the person driving it would be hard pressed to get me to move out of his/her way if all the lights were activated. Sorry buddy, but you pretty much jumped up in your own defense when you stated that you didn't want people to swamp you with comments about "your clients lights". Reserve police officers (at least where I live) have a RESERVE COMMISSION, which gives them police powers. Here in Washington State, they all drive marked or unmarked patrol cars with exempt plates, and are not usually authorized the use of any emergency lighting on their POV's, at least that's how it is in Washington. Just admit that you like lights, and leave it at that. You seriously can't expect to post stuff like that on here and not be questioned when 99.9% of the forum is comprised of LEO'S!!!
With the antenna farm, push bumper and everything else- why not just put a lightbar on? A 12 year old would ID that thing a half mile away as is...
Firstly, this vehicle is not mine, nor was it ever.
Secondly, I find it very interesting that most members have the need to go looking up personal information to try and put together a "hypothetical puzzle" about my character.
I am indeed a train foamer, as my family has been all hard railroad workers and I grew up with that.
And those who here are LEO's need to be moire professional and stop acting like children.
I do installs as a hobby. Not some thrill to go and play pretend.
Of all the assumptions and crude behavior I have seen thus far, not one of you has PM'd me toobtain facts, yet instead are being cowardice.
