Nice install. Whats the point of being able to turn on and off the lights from a remote. Seems very cool though.

Yeah, I should have explained that. There is no practical purpose I can think of, but I will be using this car at a trade show and having the remote activation is a good conversation starter. It's quite fun to tell people the lights activate if the wrong finger prints touch the door handle and then turn the lights when they grab the handle. Many fun ways to mess with unsuspecting show goers!!

Logisys RM01 Remote Control. Really cheap units, about $15 on ebay. The RM01 controls a relay with three diode isolated outputs to the slide switch outputs on the siren which are also didoe isolated to prevent backfeeding into the siren. Very simple.

That is a sexy car! Love all the Sound Off lights, very nice simple but effective setup!

Why put the radar display there instead of on the dash? As an officer I would have to take my eyes off the road to glance down to see the display.

Yea i did the same thing on a couple cars here, but with Viper remote start systems and wired up the AUX button to all the lights. The Highway Patrol uses them when they Deploy stop sticks, they turn the lights on while waiting for the suspect, shut them off when he gets near, then turns the lights back on so he can be seen by other LEO's in the pursuit.

Thanks, The customer didn't want the radar on the dash so that was the next best location.

    Good install!

Love the rear! Perfect amount of lighting and not some crazy flash patterns.

nice, simple install. maybe i'd add led3 minis on the side of the pushbar, but other than that, the flash patterns and equipment look good.
