    2012 Ford Explorer 2/12/12

    Recently completed 2012 Explorer.

    Havis Console
    Whelen 295SLSA6 Siren
    Whelen Liberty Lightbar
Sound Off Universal Undercovers on the bumper
Sound Off LED3's on License Plate Bracket
    Custom Cage Single Prisoner Partition
    Setina Dual Vertical Gun Mount

Please hold the "it needs more light comments". This department serves a community of 1400 people and they had enough trouble getting their council to approve this package. Considering what we had to work with I think it came out well.

Nice and simple. Not over done and not under done. Will be interesting to see what type/style decals they will put on it - if any.

Love it. Simple, sweet and to the point. I work for a community of 1400 and some change and will second how hard it would be to get that package.

Do they not have a HLF for these new units?

    Thank you.

No HLF. The Ford Sedan and Utility move the reflector to change between high and low beam so flashing them is not a good idea.

Maybe the Vertexes raised up a little more, but other than that great job, nice clean wiring, not overdone, and not underdone. Nice install!

My only gripe (of you can call it that) is the placement of the radio under the arm rest. Otherwise, I like it!

EDIT: I just caught the second mic clip. I assume the Kenwood is a secondary radio?

Yes, the Kenwood will be obsolete in a month or two... However with the armrest turned (still in a very usable state) the Kenwood is pretty accessible and visible.

    Thanks for the compliments all!!

Fine job. Our radar's were mounted on the window as you showed (in our Tahoes) but the mount kept failing. We have a work around if you ever need it. Again, good job!

I generally have excellent luck with the windshield mounts using Loctite 736 primer and 312 glue on a properly prepared surface.

What do you mean by "work around"???

    Thanks,
