    Hobart Fire and EMS vehicles

thought i would share more of our stations "toy's" since i have already shown off 1811.

    1862-1863

62 and 63 are sister rigs. they are literally one number off on the VIN. both are equipped with strobe/halogen Whelen Edge bars front and rear. both Ambulances are exactly the same and have been in the fleet since the 1990's

    1861

1861 is our 2006 Ford F-550 rescue truck. it has all Halogen lights. the main bar is a 55" 6 rotator Code 3 MX7000. this truck carries all of our major equipment like generators, pumps, traffic signs and cones, axes, cutters, ect.

    1851

1851 is our 2009 Kenworth tandem axle tanker and our newest truck. it has Halogen lights on the upper section and LED lights on the grill and lower sections. the main bar is a 48" Code 3 Excalibur. the tankers capacity is 2000 gallons.

    1813

1813 is our attack pumper/brush truck. it is a 2008 Ford F-550 equipped with SCBA gear, axes, hoses ect. the lights are Halogen/Strobe. the main bar is a Federal Signal Street Hawk 3 rotators. also has a fs visabeam on top of the bar. the rear has 2 175FPM fs sentry beacons. lower level has strobe heads.

    1872

72 is our newest toy. it is a 2010 ARGO 8x8 750 HDi SE. it currently has no emergency lights to speak of at the moment. it has a enclosed canvas cab, grill guard, tow hitch, winch and removable composite rubber tracks. this thing is a beast and is the replacement to our old snowmobile.

    Nice looking equipment.
Just because you can do something doesn't necessarily mean that you should do it.

Very nice, thanks for sharing!! I love seeing rural FD's apparatus. Do you guys have a website? Also, are your ambulances ALS or BLS?
My personal opinion does not reflect the opinion of others or my department.
