Thread: Old-ish New Guy

I have been a member for a little over a year now and realized I never introduced myself properly. I'm James, I am 19, and already hold a few positions in the public safety field.

I am a certified paid-on-call firefighter for my township, and am currently in the home stretch of EMT-B class. I have been actively searching for paramedic classes to begin in September or January.
On the law enforcement side, I am a marine enforcement deputy for my county, and an auxiliary officer for a small but busy town south of my own.

Upon completion of my degree and paramedic classes, I intend to become MCOLES certified and hope to be employed either as a full-time PSO or full-time firefighter-paramedic and part-time law enforcement officer.

After five years in the field, I would like to go back to school, complete a Paramedic to RN bridge program and work towards my ultimate goal of becoming a flight nurse.

I also love blinkies of all kinds.
This forum has been great; I have learned quite a bit and really like seeing everybody's equipment set-ups, as well as reading everyone's thoughts, opinions, and suggestions. Truly a one-of-a-kind place.

Wait till you are at least in your 50's before renting a storage unit for your lights and alike.

It can be expensive.
