That's not a tow truck. This is a tow truck. Reynolds Towing. At about 15 seconds in the video.

They do a load of accident response here and even have traffic control units that are professional and well marked to slow traffic when needed. I have on occasion seen a cargo trailer of theirs on a scene that is loaded with cones and signage, and they use them properly and effectively.

The large rig actually has some red and red/white on the rear and sides that is highly effective at slowing traffic. They have an Emergency Response Contract with the State to clear the interstate of wrecked vehicles instead of IDOT having Emergency Response here. Haven't found any video of it lit up.

A little too much. Why would you place the rear work lights in the middle of a lightbar on a wrecker? Is that to light up the front of the boom?
We the willing, led by the unknowing; have been doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have been doing so much for so long with so little; we are now qualified to do anything with nothing.

That always gets me too! I spaced my 4 worklights out as far away from the center and angled 2 off to the sides of the truck. My old turboflash had them right in the middle aswell, but theyr reflector gave a more wide spread, so it wasnt too bad

These are my favorites. They are amazing and the operators are as good as the equipment.

These are the two twin steer rotators.

And more pics here a little ways down

Just a guess but I'd say $900,000+ for one of those. As for the service fee knowing what it cost for a 50ton to tow our dumps I'd say $1,500hr with a 2 hr min.
