Rontan-where did it go?

Around 2009, I recall seeing Rontan products at several fire & police trade shows. While they looked 'different' than the USA stuff, I noted they were incredibly bright.
For the past few years I haven't noticed Rontan products being pushed as much.
Did Rontan pull out of the US market, or have competitors upped the competition? Or am I just blind & not paying the attention I should at trade shows?

Member 894 knows better than I can reiterate what he told me. Basically they were bought out by a company in Florida and have had supply issues to make the lights was my understanding.
