I am trying to figure out how to best wire up my set-up. I am wiring all these lights to a Brooking BR-970S (http://www.brookingindustries.com/products.php?view=prod&id=21).

Here is my equipment list:

- Code 3 MX7000
- 5 rotators
- pair of rear flashers
- Alleys
- Takedowns
- Intersection Sweeps
- Corner HAWs
- Grille Lights
- HLF

Here are the switches on the switchbox:

Mode 1 (yellow) -
Mode 2 (green) –
Mode 3 (red) –
Switch 1 –
Switch 2 –
Switch 3 –
Switch 4 -
Switch 5 –
Switch 6 - DO NOT USE

I am not using the 6th switch since it is on/off/momentary. How would you do this? Thanks for the suggestions.

You need to know the amp rating for the slide switch.... is the light bar wired up as inboard outboard and center rotator....

I'd put haws and grilles on a switch.
Flashers on a switch.
Takedown
Left and right alley on separate switches

Outboards on mode 1 if possible
Intersections and center on mode 2
In boards on 3

Assuming the bar is setup with outer warning colors and a center clear rotator I would set it up like this.

SS1: Outboard rotators and rear flashers
SS2: SS1 + inboard rotators and grill lights
SS3: SS1 + SS2 + center rotator, sweeps and corner strobes.

S1: Take downs
S2: Left alley
S3: Right Alley
S4: Rear flashers

I would also add a headlight flasher if the law allows. I would activate that with SS3.

My MX on my previous 99 Silverado was wired as follows:
Position 1: Arrowstick and Front/rear bar Flashers
Position 2: all 4 outer rotators, Rear LP T3's, Rear canons
Position 3: Sweeps, Intersection LED, Center rotator, HLF, Headlight canons, fog canons, T6 in grille, T3's on bumper corners

Switch 1: Takedown
Switch 2: Left alley
Switch 3: Right alley
Switch 4: Plowing ambers(T3 in grille, rear bumper, and above the chevy LS badge on both doors of single cab)
Switch 5: rear LED work lights
Switch 6: ceiling mounted gun rack

After looking at the above suggestions, I am thinking something like this:

Mode 1: Outboard rotators, center rotator and rear flashers
Mode 2: Mode 1+ Inboard rotators, grille lights
Mode 3: Mode 1 + Mode 2, Intersection sweeps, corner strobes, headlight flasher

Switch 1: Takedowns
Switch 2: Left Alley
Switch 3: Right Alley
Switch 4: Rear Flashers, Rear Corner Strobes

I think there should be a way to just flash the rear strobes only
