    All of Whelen's "can" shapes domes are interchangible size wise. Some used 2 screw mounting, some used dome clamp ring. The ring will work on the domes with screw holes..

    I remember this being discussed a while back. IIRC there were some things not quite right with the bar. I don't think the stationary bulbs were fluted for proper light dispersion, and I'm not sure the PAR36 bulbs would have met CA laws, no cone in the speaker. I think there were other thing...

    Strobe light flash rates:

    Back in those days the industry considered 60-120 an effective flash rate, depending on mfg, number of heads etc. They tested and found that that range provided adequate eye retinal recovery for safety and effectiveness. Most ended up around 80-100.
