    2013 Mitsubishi Outlander setup

I have seen B/W combination in the area and had doubt, however, here's a quote from the PA code: "Flashing, revolving or oscillating white or clear lights and flashing headlamp systems may only be used in conjunction with the flashing or revolving red or combination red-and-blue light". Amber...

    2013 Mitsubishi Outlander setup

It's going to be TIR6. Thought about putting 500 series on both sides in place of the alleys, but the corners seem to give enough light, so we'll see.

    2013 Mitsubishi Outlander setup

Thanks to all for the kind words. The front center IS flashing on its own, I'll definitely consider slowing it down a bit. I'm not too sure about the steady burn idea, though I'll give it a shot and make a video for everyone for see. Center rear AMBER is something I had in mind as a matter...

    Mini Justice Magnet mounts question

Are the magnet mounts on mini justice the same size/type as on lfl liberty and mini freedom? I've come upon rubber boots to be placed over the magnets to prevent paint from scratching. Thanks in advance for your comments.

Amplified from what I've been told. Ok, will try. I will contact the county radio techs to find out info in regard to banding. Total of 8 speakers. I had sent an email to Motorola techs asking for suggestion, so we'll see. Thank you very much for your input. I will get back once we figure...

    Station alering system problem

Here's one for the stereo gurus out there. Our station has been having a problem with the sound quality when alert goes off. Static noise overrides the voice notification and it's very difficult to hear dispatch info. Here's the setup: Minitor V plugged into the charger&amplifier, audio then...

    1 vs 2 channel pager

Hi all, Here's a question, my county dispatches at 155.5500 frequency for FIRE/EMS pagers. I'd like to have both of the EMS departments I'm affiliated with to be programmed to alert for 2 sets of tones respectively, one for each squad. My understanding is that there's no necessity for 2...

    Whelen 4500 project.

Purchased 86" flush mount Whelen 4500 Series bar from a member here which turned into the mancave project. Bar came with 7 700 Series LEDs ( non sync ones, bummer :( ), 3 white and 4 red; Here's a pic: Obviously the weather has taken toll on this one. Here's the bar stripped down (...

Custom switchbox for mountain bike. +videos

Because I'm not a fan of Chinese knock-off bike lights, I wanted to give my bike some zest and installed two Whelen LIN4s. The area I live in has many hills, valleys, sharp curves etc, thus I'd like to be seen before getting accidentally hit :) Anyways, I installed the lights and faced a...

It was the first emitter made by 3M, Opticom model 172 ( below ). If anyone has this unit, please contact me. These were later replaced by Model 192, which is basically the circuit board, strobe, shiny reflector and aluminum casing; no fluid.

    V-Con Problems

My first thought is to check remote switch or wire S-6 ( horn ring ) for shorting to positive, or negative, depending the polarity of the horn ring switch. Use multimeter to do the testing. http://www.code3pse.com/pdf/install_guides/3600_series_v-con_siren_t01466_rev_6.pdf

    Unitrol 90 Digital Siren Amp

There are two bundles of yellow harness coming from the 9000. If you look over each wire, you can see fine print labeling each wire's function, I believe. I don't have a unit in front of me right now, but I'm pretty sure that one of those is for remote A.H. Most of them are for aux. switches...
