4200 Flash Pattern Change Button

Where in the 4200 do I put my (-) wire for my pattern changing?

Not sure what product you are using but it depends on if it is positive or negative switched for pattern changing. If it is a positive switched component, you can put it on any one of the outputs of the 4200 then program a button on your 4200 to a momentary function for that output to change patterns. IF you are trying to change patterns on a negative switched product you will have to wire in a relay to change the polarity of that output.

Okay thank you how might I do that because it is negative I also have the cannons which I believe are negative as well

Or simply put a grounded momentary switch somewhere else in the vehicle.
