Here is my other vehicle (actually not mine, my fiancee's LoL), a 2006 Honda Civic EX 4-Door 1.8L I4... This is a nice sporty little car for what it is, and I actually fit comfortably in it (unlike her last car, a 2007 Didge Caliber) I'm in the process of putting a small lighting package into it, just incase I have it out somewhere... This isn't going to be an over the top install, but something nice and simple... Currently, all I'm running is a Whelen LED DashKing.

I had a change to put some of the stuff I have for it in this past weekend... I installed a direct-wire Feniex Python-2X with headliner bracket above the RVM. It sits up there VERY nicely and is solid without having to use any mounting hardware. The bracket is actually being "sandwiched" between the roof structure and the map/domelight assembley. I unscrewed the map/dome light, slid the Python in, and screwed the map/dome light back in.

Plus I installed a pair of Feniex Python T-4s in the grill... (Pardon my wires, I didn't have any loom on me when I did this... It will get loomed and protected...)

They aren't hooked up yet, so I dont have any vids...

The next things to install are a pair of Fenies Fairy LED HAWs in the reverse light housing (Or I might get another pair of T-4s and a LP Bracket) and my "No-Splice" HLF. I'm also toying with the idea of installing a set of Fairy's in the turnsignals op front (to give some side and intersection warning)

I also bought an OEM Fog Light kit that Came with the OEM fog light switch panel (3 spots, 1 for the fog light switch, and 2 blanks where I'll be installing 2 Carling Contour Switches) Not sure how I'm gonna set it up the controls yet...

Got this wrapped up the other day... Nothing fancy, but its something incase I happen to have this instead of my Avalanche...

Here's a pic of the switches in the OEM Switch Plate

And heres a very quick vid...

The L32 is not on the roof all the time, but will be run to maintain "legal" status... The HLF doesn't get used while responding cause PA sucks... And I'm also thinking about possible selling the Python X2 thats above the RVM... There has been a rumor going around that PSP is starting to crack down on "Dash Lights" so it might be requested that I de-install it... But anyway, hope you enjoy...

See if you can't get the L32 behind the sunroof - it looks like it's got almost no vertical visibility, so it oughta be mounted on the most level location you can find, and the corner in front of the sunroof ain't it.

As in it gets put on the roof in the event I have this car and the pager goes off... I'm not going to spend time to get the "perfect" placement everytime... I've used just the L32 in that position and haven't had many problems, other than the fact that people do want to move regardless... lol

Nice work. Hope ur gf doesn't accidentally drive with them on.

Nah, shes good... I'm worried about when I install the OEM fog lights since the switch for them will be in that final blank spot... lol

I got a change today to make a couple better vids of the install... So here they are...

First one is with the HLF... HLF is just for show, and not used for respose...

As I've stated before, these Feniex lights are very effective... You can't even tell that the X2 is being blocked by the Sun Dots on the windshield... And it fits very snug and secure.

Ha, reminds me of Euro style unmarked cars, lol. Looks good though.

You might put a flip up cover over the emergency light switches. http://www.skycraftsurplus.com/productimages/sk1495.jpg

Very nice apart from the rotating flash pattern. Much better placement for the throw light.

Looks good; I like the throw light... gonna have to look at those.

My old '07 Civic had a D12 mounted to the headliner just where your Fenix is; that's a great spot and you are correct, the tint dots do not hinder the light at all.

Nice work.

I know its not "Emergency Lighting" but I did install some lights on the Civic the other day... And let me tell you, it was a PAIN!!!

Why? I can see a lawyer useing that against you if you ever happened to get rear ended.

Trust me, they aren't as dark as they appear in the pics... Plenty of light shines through and the reflectors are very clearly visible. As shown in the third pic, thats just the parking lights illuminated...

IMO, there's nothing less professional looking than that. This isnt 'The Fast and Furious'. :duh:

a vehicle with flashing lights, trying to request the right of way, with smoked out, cheapo, aftermarket lights? Seems stupid to me. Especially when youre trying to convince the public to take your little civic with flashing lights seriously.

(smoked out or not, the output that those taillights have is nowhere near OEM. especially in bad weather. everytime i see these on the road i wonder why people would want to be LESS visible to the other idiots on the road) Especially on a suedo-emergency vehicle. :hopeless:

all the person who rear ended you would have to say is , "I couldnt tell he was breaking.".

Actually, to the naked eye they are almost identical in light output. I had them lit up side-by-side and there wans't a real noticible difference...

And this is NOT an emergency vehicle, nor is it even my main response vehicle... This has a simple lighting package of a dashlight, grille lights and a throw light in case I happen to have this instead of my truck...

as soon as you switch those lights on, it becomes an emergency vehicle. well, kinda.

Looks nice. Non of my ex GFs would let me out anything resembling emergency lighting near their vehicles (but then again, I don't think your fiancée has a choice when she's marrying a vollie lol).

Honestly, I've never been a fan of LED beacons as throw lights...I would say that a halogen firebeam (rapid speed) would look awesome there!
