I am saddened to share with Elightbars that the City of Asheville North Carolina Fire Department has suffered a death in the line of duty.


Captain Jeff Bowen lost is life while performing search and rescue in a high rise fire.


Jeff was a 13 year veteran of the department and leaves behind his wife Stacy, and three small children.


Jeff was 37
