Chief Bob Harold is a retired US Army Sergeant Major and a retired Chief of Police. He is also a treasured friend of mine and a truly wonderful man.
He is going to undergo a bone marrow transplant in the 2nd week of June. His doctors say it is his only chance for survival. He will be in the hospital for about 4 months and the hospital is 100 miles away from his home.
Most of expenses will be covered but some unexpected costs have been discovered such as the $50 per day for a room for his wife to stay so she can be at his side daily.
