Firebeam Help

I am looking for some help, as I was switching from slow speed to fast, the switch mechanism broke on my firebeam. I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix the Dual Speed switch, I use it kind of frequently, and a light that doesn’t rotate isn’t as effective.

How is your soldering experience? What I would do, is find an electronic supply place and order that switch and unsolder the old one off the board and insert the new one. From what I remember of that light, is it a rather common switch.
