Junction Box/Fuse Block location?

I have a crew cab Silverado. I'm starting to wire up my lights, as well as some other existing electronics in the pickup, however I'm trying to think of the best location for my junction box and fuse block? Are most people wiring them under the back seat? Under the hood? I'm going to try to put it under the dash if I can, but looking for a backup option, one that is easy to add things to if need be.

Thanks

What year/body style Silverado? I have my Blue Sea fuse panel under the front center console in my 01, but I have seen alot of installs on the rear cab wall, behind the back seat.

Mine is an 07 classic body style. I think under the drivers seat is looking like the best since it provides a easy place for wires to run. My larger gauge power wire will run right underneath the drivers seat and into the engine bay, and the rest of the wires can run under the door trim next to the seat I think. Interior rear light bar is the main rear light that has to run from the back the rest come from the front.

Caution not to run wires were they are subject to being stepped on frequently or subject to water. Could pose for issues down the road.
Now they're all in spots where factory wires are ran, no big deal! Thanks for your input though!
