Keep it undercover with tint

I used plasti dip smoke for some LED3s recently. They came out okay. They gave the light a matte look and barely affected light output.
Very nice. Any regrets? or anything you would've done differently? Probably something that can be picked up at Home Depot?

I'll have to pass that idea on to my friend.

No regrets. I had to order it online as none of the stores, big or small, had the smoke. I only did 5 coats. It's peel-able so if they don't like it, it can be peeled off easily. Again these went behind a grille so the objective wasn't so much to darken the lenses, but more to help it blend in so it wasn't immediately apparent that they were there.  The agency that received them was happy with the end result.
