RIP sir...

I wrote a while back in a more poignant moment, I felt it appropriate.

I've served my time, I've done my tour,

I helped the rich, the homeless and the poor,

All this time, I thought all along,

That I'd never be the one, who is now gone,

All that is left is my legacy,

As well as a shattered family,

Some may laugh, some may cry,

Now another Police Officer, has had to die

But none of this, is a concern of mine

Because I was part, of the Thin Blue line.
