Senior Officer Scott Patrick of the Mendota Heights, MN Police Department has succumbed to injuries from gunfire which stemmed from a traffic stop he conducted around 12:20pm today. RIP Officer Patrick

An update as of late tonight. The suspect has been captured after a second gun battle in which he (and a female accomplice) sustained injuries.
