why does it look so low to the ground? Is it really that low.

Its not really that low in real life. Hackneys are built lower than other manufactures but I think the shadow and perception make it look lower.

Other than the ladder rungs in the rear covering the lights.... it's pretty nice looking. I'm afraid it will be unsynched split fail.

Man that things huge! What's that middle module on the Freedom? And is this truck replacing another one or is this just an addition?

I assume NCPD finally got a budget upgrade. In addition to this, just yesterday I saw an NCPD CVPI with a FedSig Valor on it. Totally caught me by surprise. No pics unfortunately :(

3rd precinct car, maybe 344? The county is toying with switching away from Whelen. They have been outfitting a lot of vehicles lately with different manufacturers. Don't be surprised if a full switch occurs with the next batch of cars when they decide what type of vehicle they are going with since they cant get any more CV's..

This is replacing an older truck of similar size. ESU runs a handful of smaller mini-rescues, and responds to pick u the larger trucks if needed for large scale incidents. Pretty much all Fd's in the county have a heavy rescue of equal size or better.

It was indeed a 3rd precinct car, right in the heart of the 3rd precinct itself. Couldn't get a number on it, noticed it way too late and from my vantage point it would've been impossible anyway.

What else are they testing on RMP's? Anything interesting?

And does anyone have any clues as to what NCPD might go with next? I know they really fleshed out their fleet with those Tahoe SSV's, but I also have a couple of pictures of a 2013 Explorer PI demonstrator sitting in the NCPD EVOC lot. Will upload on request.

Post away, pics are always a nice compliment to any thread. :)

NCPD doesn't run split colored LEDs from what I have witnessed.

*BUMP*

So look what I found in the same lot today...

I would assume this means the NCPD will be getting some Exploders, if they don't already have some lurking about.

So, I dunno if it's cool to still be bumping this, or if anyone else besides me cares, but I figured I might as well...

New addition to the EVOC lot:
